This Orbit Foundation (Basic) Molecular Model Set is somewhat to other ball & stick models insofar as both are framework style. While they both emphasize bond angles & molecular geometry the Orbit set has a greater variety of VSEPR shapes & is more intuitive because of its discrete atoms. Further, the standard Orbit 20, 25 & 35mm stiff bonds can be cut to display correct interatomic differences whereas other types cannot.
