Tapered cork and rubber stoppers for test tubes, flasks, plugging leaks, insect mounts.
Stoppers are used to seal glass test tubes, Erlenmeyer flasks & Florence (boiling) flasks keep out airborne contaminents.
Cork stoppers are suitable for sealing to keep materials such as cigars or spices dry and culture media sterile after autoclaving.
Rubber stoppers are better if an airtight seal is required & for use with non-food chemicals . They should be washed in hot soapy water before use with food.
Please note that we can only guarantee that the rubber & cork stoppers fit our glassware properly since different supplier have different specifications & tolerances.
