Impossible you say? It costs about as much to pack, invoice & ship 2, 3 or even 10 of almost anything. "Free" shipping means these costs are included in the first item but inflate the final cost when you buy more.

Shipped To & From Where?
Orders shipping to US addresses are billed in $US & ship from Buffalo, NY.
Orders shipping to Canadian addresses are billed in $CAD & ship from Waterloo, ON. GST/HST is charged.
Orders shipping to International destinations are billed in $US. Duty & VAT & brokerage NOT included.
No credit card information is stored on the website or any other computer in our organization.

Billing Address
This address is used as the primary contact information for an order. If a Credit Card is the chosen method of payment, the Billing Address must match the address registered to the Credit Card.
Shipping Address
This is the address the goods are shipped to. Also the Shipping Address is used to determine currency and tax calculations.
Orders shipped to Canadian destinations are charged in CAD. All orders shipped to the USA and other areas of the world are charged in USD. Sales taxes are applied only to orders with Canadian destinations.

Minimum Order Amounts
We have no minimum order for quantity when you order on-line with a credit card. Orders do have to be for at least $5.00 or a handling charge will be added to make up the difference.
Purchase order minimums are $150. We recommend you send yourself a quote outlined above. This will ensure you see quantity discounts & get an accurate shipping cost. School & government agencies that are state sales tax exempt can send supporting documentation with their order.
Freight Costs
We do not offer free shipping but if you buy multiple items, we should cost less to your door. If you find otherwise, on products of comparable quality, let us know; we may have overlooked something.
US Orders
- USPS/FedEx Ground orders are from Buffalo, NY & are usually shipped within 2 business days after ordering.
- Indigo Instruments pays all cross border charges when shipped on our accounts.
- Visa/Mastercard/Amex are accepted on-line.
- Personal checks & international money orders should be sent to the Waterloo, ON address. Checks must clear before goods are shipped.
- Wire transfers are required for larger orders from customers without prior credit history. Exception are made for Universities, Colleges, Federal & State government agencies.
Canadian Orders
- Orders received by 2PM normally ship that business day from Waterloo, ON.
- Due to the Pandemic, all orders are by Visa/Mastercard/Amex and are accepted online.
Cash is required for orders <$20 when picked up.For pick-up orders, note in comments when you plan on picking up. One hour notice is required for 9AM-4PM pickup Mon.-Fri.- Personal cheques & money orders can be sent to 169 Lexington Crt., Unit I, Waterloo, ON N2J 4R9. Cheques must clear before goods are shipped.
- Wire transfers are required for larger orders from customers without prior credit history. Exception are made for Universities, Colleges, Federal & Provincial government agencies.
International Orders
- International Customers should check certain products e.g. test strips are allowed by Customs into destination country before ordering. We cannot control International Customs clearance issues or rejection of shipments to International destinations. International customers are responsible for all associated importation fees charged if applicable.
Purchase Orders
Purchase orders are only accepted from Canadian and American academic institutions, federal, provincial/state departments and public institutions such as museums. Requirements are as follows:
- $150 minimum not including freight or taxes
- Fax to 519-747-5636 or send as a file attachment or mail to the Waterloo address
- Include complete billing and shipping address information
- Include the name and telephone number of the accounts payable person
- US purchase orders over $800 must include a Fed Tax ID #
- Include provincial or state exemption numbers if applicable.
Delivery Issue?
When dispatched, the primary email supplied in your order receives a tracking number and carrier details. This is provided so you can monitor the expected arrival date of your order. Reports for non-delivery must be submitted within 5 business days of original estimated delivery date, after which no refund or replacement can be issued.In the event of discovered breakage upon delivery, you must keep all packaging and contact us within 2 business days of order delivery. We will require photographs of the damage to external shipping carton, internal breakage and advise you of the next steps.
