Remove and install watch bracelet pins with the Indigo™ 22574 stainless steel precision pick. Adjust link sizing on metal watch bands without scratching cases or bracelet finish.

Resizing metal watch bracelets requires removing pins that secure individual links; a deceptively difficult  task without proper tools. Improvised tools scratch bracelet surfaces and can damage pin holes, devaluing expensive timepieces. The Indigo™ 22574 precision pick is ideal for this delicate work: the straight tip locates and engages pin ends, while the right-angle tip can push pins from tight holes when pins resist removal. Watchmakers and jewelry repair technicians will appreciate the polished surface that won't mar brushed or polished bracelet finishes. Its slim profile can access pin holes in modern integrated bracelet designs. The tool works equally well for collar pins, spring bars, and other small mechanical connections in fine jewelry and accessories.

Indigo™ dental tools are made with AISI 410 German surgical grade stainless steel, not "alloy steel" made from rusted cars. We've been selling dental tools on-line since 1998. Ours stay sharp longer & are autoclavable: see Documentation below that confirms chromium & manganese content.

How to Use

Identify the direction arrows on the bracelet indicating pin removal direction. Place the bracelet securely in a holder or on a soft surface. Use the straight tip to locate the pin end and apply gentle inward pressure. If the pin resists, use the right-angle tip for better leverage, pushing from the opposite side. Once the pin starts moving, it can often be pulled free with fingers or tweezers. When reinstalling, guide pins straight into holes; cocked pins will damage threads. Work over a tray to catch small pins and components. Test bracelet security after reassembly.

Need an ultrafine tool to clear clogged nozzles or microfilters? Insect pins may be a practical alternative. Our unique 100 pin sampler package has 10 pins in 10 thicknesses, all made with grade 316 stainless steel.
