The image shown is that of tripalmitin which is a triglyceride that can be built with this kit. There are enough parts to build any 3 C18 fatty acids and a single C57 triglyceride.
This kit will build tripalmitin which is a triglyceride (triacylglycerol). In some textbooks, you will see the central chain laid out in the opposite direction. We have moved them all so that they will fit into the picture.
