The Indigo® water soluble vitamins molecular model kit can build all 8 chemical structure models of B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 & Vitamin C, simultaneously. These vitamins play important roles in our metabolism and are essential to human health. The molecular model style of this kit is called "Orbit X-peg" and is also used in our 12 base pair DNA model.

Indigo Instruments has maintained a substantial inventory of genuine Cochranes of Oxford (Orbit) atoms & bonds for over 30 years. These parts are compatible with every molecular model kit we have sold since day 1. This level of quality may appear expensive but no parts support from other vendors costs even more.

This kit can build 8 of the essential water soluble vitamins, B1-thiamine, B2-riboflavin, B3-niacin, B5-pantothenic acid, B6-pyridoxine, B7-biotin, B9-folic acid and vitamin C-ascorbic acid, as shown below. You can also build them, along with other biomolecules, using our Class Biochemistry Set.

Use our free on-line 3D Molecular Model Builder tool in "Orbit-X-peg" style to view the vitamin structures. Our advanced student organic chemistry set & class organic chemistry set can build most of these vitamin chemical structure models but use the 3D Model Builder in the "Orbit flexible" style which will also list any extra parts you might need.

Vitamin B12 is not included in this kit because it is very largely molecule. Also, our 3D Model Builder does not position the cyano group of cyanocobalamin (B12) correctly but the main structure is otherwise correct.
