Remove dried concrete and cement splatter from tools and equipment with the Indigo™ 22577 stainless steel curved scraper. Clean construction tools without damaging metal surfaces or painted finishes.
Concrete and mortar splatter on tools, mixers, wheelbarrows, and equipment becomes increasingly difficult to remove as it cures, eventually requiring chipping or grinding that damages underlying surfaces. Delayed cleanup costs time and reduces tool life through accumulated buildup. The Indigo™ 22577's broad curved scraper provides efficient concrete removal capability. The wide scraping edge tackles larger areas of dried concrete splatter much faster than pointed tools, while the curved profile follows the contours of wheelbarrow beds and mixer drums. The stainless steel construction resists the alkaline nature of concrete and won't rust from exposure to moisture during cleanup. Regular cleaning with this tool prevents the buildup that eventually requires aggressive removal methods that damage equipment finishes and create rough surfaces where future concrete adheres even more stubbornly.
Indigo™ dental tools are made with AISI 410 German surgical grade stainless steel, not "alloy steel" made from rusted cars. We've been selling dental tools on-line since 1998. Ours stay sharp longer & are autoclavable: see Documentation below that confirms chromium & manganese content.
Address concrete splatter as soon as practical. Partially cured concrete removes more easily than fully hardened material. For dried concrete, lightly dampen the surface to slightly soften the outermost layer. Hold the curved scraper at a moderate angle and use firm pushing strokes to break concrete free from the underlying surface. The broad edge allows you to apply significant force without concentrating pressure at a single point. For curved surfaces like wheelbarrow interiors or mixer drums, the tool's curve maintains good contact across the surface contour. Work systematically across the contaminated area, periodically clearing away removed concrete chunks. For extremely hard, thick concrete buildup, consider using a hammer to crack it first, then use the scraper to remove fragments. After bulk removal, wire brushes can address remaining thin residue. Clean tools promptly after concrete work to minimize future buildup.
Need an ultrafine tool to clear clogged nozzles or microfilters? Insect pins may be a practical alternative. Our unique 100 pin sampler package has 10 pins in 10 thicknesses, all made with grade 316 stainless steel.

Kelli Cote Great quality products at a very reasonable price! Purchased some dental picks for my daughter's University paleontology club to help with their fossil preparation lab.
Sandra Mead I bought several stainless steel picks...strong,sharp and hold their shape; not like the ones you get on Amazon or at home depot...a good product at a good price...Thanks Indigo
