Glucose & Galactose Models
This molecular model kit includes enough parts to build both glucose and galactose.
You can build just these glucose & galactose models alone or in combination with others in the "hybrid dome" style shown in the image or the two other styles, "open sphere" or "closed sphere" (spacefilling) using our 3D Molecular Model Builder
Compare the structures shown to that of the alpha/beta glucose models. Galactose is slightly different and it requires the enzyme galactase to convert it to glucose before it can be used. Glucose and galactose, when combined, form lactose, or milk sugar. Click on the link to see lactose.
You can also build similar models in the Orbit style with our 68799W Glucose Molecule Structure Models Kit.
