These 4-hole sp3 sulfur atoms are hard to find. Very few sets come with these atoms. Carrageenan molecules (as seen in chocolate milk and other dairy products) and sulfates uses them. Deducting a star because of pricing. After investing in entire molecular sets, in comparision, purchases on a per-atom-basis is much more expensive. Nevertheless, it is worth buying only to supplement an existing set.

We tried carrageenan in our 3D Molecular Model Builder. It didn't work. But, if you add these prefixes: alpha-, beta- & lamda-, it did.

The cost per atom is indeed higher but for 3 reasons. We get student sets in large quantities which reduces the cost per atom a lot. You can also order just one of any atom but the price doesn't cover handling, packing, etc., hence the significant discounts on quantity. And, as you noticed, few if any companies carry the sp3 sulfur or any loose atoms. We hold significant stock on all Molymod spare parts so we can ship promptly.
