Extra thick rims for safe resealable packaging of liquors, spices or candy store & trade show displays. Tube holds ~125mL/5 fl. oz.

Need something longer? It's possible but the minimum order quantity is in the thousands. Many university chemistry departments have glassblowers who do work on the side. They can cut a section out of 1 tube & fuse them into another.

I am SO happy to have found these test tubes from Indigo Instruments. I hadn't heard of them before and had checked the usual large retailers of labware, but couldn't find this size. The price was VERY reasonable, and I appreciated being able to order them in the quantities that I needed, and not in batches of 100/1000/etc. They shipped super quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Couldn't be happier!!

Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size. (I had taken the lip into account but not the width of the tube itself.) In spite of the order not working out, I found the price to be reasonable and the customer service was excellent. Someone reached out to let me know that it would save money to get two tubes instead of one, and I appreciated that there was a human processing my order who took the time to write me an email.

Thanks for the feedback. We try to review every order in case of product mismatches (tubes & stoppers or test tube racks)?or if there are overlooked cost savings. Glad we could help.

I stumbled upon Indigo Instruments after searching the world around for this size with close to no luck. They happened to be out of stock, but they checked in almost weekly to give me updates on restock, shipping, and order information. When they were restocked, they shipped my purchase quickly and made sure I knew it was on the way. The glassware was shipped in tip-top shape and I couldn't be more pleased. Their prices are great and their communication is flawless. My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner.

I used the test tube as an insert for a vase I made from polymer clay. Worked out very well. I also bought a beaker that I have not used yet but hope to make a polymer clay tripod to hold the beaker to be used as a small vase.

— Indigo: Another fine use of lab glass for decorative purposes. Thank you for description.
