Hydrogen peroxide can be used to disinfectant milk processing equipment. Buy Indigo® 10000ppm hydrogen peroxide test strips to help dilute concentrated (food grade) peroxide for only $25.95/100 strips; buy more & and save.

Hydrogen peroxide is also used as a milk preservative in cheese making where refrigeration is unavailable. However, you will need to use Indigo® 0-400ppm hydrogen peroxide strips to measure these lower concentrations.

  • Indigo® test strips have a guaranteed minimum 3 year shelf life but are stored in desiccant lined vials so actual shelf life can be 5+ years.

  • The number of strips per vial (100) is approximate.
  • Suitable for detection of hydroperoxides and ether peroxides. Polymeric peroxides, which can form in diethylether, are not detected. Organic peroxides, such as di-tert-butyl peroxide, dicumyl peroxide or tert-butyl perbenzoate, either do not react or react with significantly reduced sensitivity.
