This model of diamond only consists of 14 carbon atoms but stands 375mm (~15") tall & clearly shows the bonding that makes this lattice structure so strong.
There are two examples done in Molymod. This version shows a diamond unit cell outlined with red atoms in place of the black ones. We even have a magnetic molecular model of diamond.
