Metastable rhombohedral beta graphite has an ABC stacking order that can be seen in this image. Its electronic spectrum is reminiscent of twisted bilayer graphene and may have superconducting properties.
Indigo Instruments has held inventory of genuine Cochranes of Oxford (Orbit) parts for 30+ years (See Skeletal (Orbit/Minit)) that are compatible with every molecular model we have sold since day 1. This level of quality may appear expensive but no parts support from other vendors costs even more.
The interlayer bonds are flexible to allow the layers to move showing the weak van der Waals attraction which is a basic property of graphite.
