This diamond crystal structure molecular model makes an attractive computer tablet support-a must have for any desk bound techie.

The base model comes with 1020 atoms+1850 bonds. You will need an additional 63 atoms and 99 bonds as described in the Related Products below to build the support shelf for the tablet.

The support shelf & consists of an additional 63 atoms and 99 bonds not included in the base model. Allow yourself at least 3 hours to build the entire structure!

It is a very high cost performance molecular model. We bought 3 sets and felt satisfied. We bought them to build various ice structures. Unfortunately the tube is too stiff to make highly distorted structures of ices under very high pressures, but that is not a fault for the product, of course. We will make softer tubes by ourselves.

— Indigo: The 15mm bonds are used so diamond model is stiff. Longer bonds would be flexible enough for ice.

— Indigo: The bonds are short for scale & model stiffness. Ice needs some 35mm bonds for the distortions you want to model. Also, you need linear hydrogens.
