Here is a great example of how a strong, flat magnet can be used discretely. This was sent to us by Joy. B. of Toronto who describes it in her own words.
The actual card is made up of squares which are glued together with overlapping quarters and then triangles are given out to everyone to sign. I then glued all the triangles to the base card and added all the butterflies and flowers after that. The whole thing has to go into a box instead of an envelope.
There is a magnet placed on the back of the last quarter corner and one under the triangle of the top corner so that the whole thing keeps closed through magnetic attraction. I get more use out of the magnets on scrapbook pages like the one below the centre piece opens up to the three page with the paperclip. (Held shut by magnets hidden under the decorative papers).
We have sold NdFeB magnets since 1996 and N42 grade since 2003, the best value for strength & temperature vs cost. Don't be fooled by claims of higher strength, N52, at lower cost.
