These 25x100mm (1x4") glass test tubes, have a nominal outside diameter of 25mm. If you have a hole that is slightly wider than the OD of the tube, an o-ring or elastic band, etc. placed under the rim may fix the problem. You can also see how the o-rings were used to position the test tube in this wall mounted spice rack. Rubber o-rings are generally available in hardware or plumbing supply stores.
