These 5 inch (125mm) Mosquito medical forceps-hemostats make great fish hook removal tools. They're ideal for catch & release fishing & safe removal of small barbed fish hooks. If you use them on the smaller 22 to 10 sizes fishing hooks you should be able to crimp the barb & extract the hook with minimal damage to the fish. Larger hooks or ones stuck deep in the fish's mouth may need larger/longer sized hemostats.
