Buy Indigo® brand 0-400ppm quick response QAC test strips for only $10.49 per 100 strips. This test strip can measure the strength of many multi-quat formulations of single, dual and 4-chain quat disinfectants as listed in Quaternary Ammonium Compounds. You can even compare their chemical structures with the unique Indigo® 3D Molecular Model Builder.

Indigo®-Precision Laboratories multi-quat test papers or strips react to the “protein-error effect" to quantify QAC ppm levels. They are calibrated for Oasis 146, an industry standard quat product but can be used for alternate quat products.

Indigo Precision QAC-QR5 restaurant grade quaternary ammonium sanitizer strips are ideal for restaurant quaternary ammonium use. They will confirm quaternary ammonium compounds are in the 200-400ppm range recommended for soaking & manual cleaning. Best used at neutral pH 7 & diluted with soft water. Quaternary ammonia compounds, while approved as as equipment sanitizers, they are not intended for direct food contact on treated surfaces.

Indigo® QAC QR test strips are ideal for confirming the cleaning power of quaternary ammonium sanitizers in the 200-400ppm range as recommended for soaking & manual cleaning. Best used at neutral pH 7 & diluted with soft water. 200ppm quat is effective against non-enveloped viruses such as norovirus, rotavirus & polio virus.

All Indigo® Quat (QAC) test strips have a 3 year minimum guaranteed shelf life & come with a Certificate of Analysis, Stability & SDS documents listed below; Certificate of Conformance on request. Be prepared for any health & safety audit or inspection.

Excellent product- temperature range is far more liberal and fits our needs. State surveyor recommended! Down side is cost may be a factor considering old strips are provided for free from our vendor.

FAQ for QAC QR Test Strips 0-400 ppm

The most common mistake is dipping longer than 2 seconds & not reading within 10 seconds of dipping. Longer wait times will indicate an inaccurate, higher concentration level. These guidelines are listed on the color chart attached to the strip container.
