Big models for organic or biochemistry or crystal structures.

Most versatile large molecular model style anywhere.

Unit large molecular model kits currently consist of individual Unit cell models and several different configurations of close pack models.

Unit Close Packed Models

Unit atoms can be coupled in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 (or more) sphere groupings to illustrate the various types of close packing. We have listed 3 possible combinations of close packing models.

Unit Crystal Lattices

The Unit Large Molecular model set is so named because it was designed orginally to show the 7 basic crystal systems. Listed below are dedicated kits with all the parts needed to show the individual unit cells.

Note: parts for the triclinic model have been discontinued & only a few of these can still be built. There are also no instructions for their assembly.

Instructions/Safety

Any Unit atom can be built for univalence by adding one of the 3 different pegs. Combinations of these 3 pegs can produce any molecular geometry from divalent to trigonal on up to octahedral.

Watch the video below to see how easy it is to make any molecular geometry from any Unit atom.
