I have been using Indigo Instruments entomology pins in my artwork for almost ten years now, and at this point, they have been an integral part of multiple framed works as well as four different large-scale sculptural paper installations. Indigo Instruments has been a reliable source of affordable hand lenses for beginners in our earth sciences courses at McGill University. We tried other suppliers after coming across the occasional defective items (unavoidable in mass manufacturing). However, Indigo Instruments offers us the best quality:price ratio and attentive service among the many options we tried.

Glad you found us & happy to be of service.

I found Indigo Instruments via the blog of artist Ann Wood. I was not sure what would be the best size for pinning cloth, so this sampler pack is perfect. So far I have tried the #4, and they are perfect for med-lightweight fabric. Nice and sharp, slender, long, very strong. The tiny heads stay out of the way when I am sewing. I will be ordering more for sure; I love them! I am also going to give some to my friend who needs strong pins when making her corsets.

I needed some pins, but just didn't know the size that I required. I spent a good bit of time searching around the internet for a packet that would provide me with a range of pins for a reasonable price. Was so happy to find the sample pack. I am actually using the pins to place in the shafts of my needle glue injectors from Rockler, to keep the shafts clear. After trying out many of the pins, I have decided on using the black enamel #3. These pins are lovely. They feel good, Have an elegant head. I love beautiful tools, even small ones like these pins. What a great product. Thank you.

Originally planned to buy from Amazon, but I wasn't sure what size I needed. Then I found this sampler pack, which was both cheaper and shipped faster than I could have gotten elsewhere. These seem like great quality pins, and I'm excited to use them!
