The MoS2 model is relatively easy to build but there are a few steps that need to be carried out first. Click on the Details tab below.
In the image you can see 3 steps are indicated:
- The long grey bonds need to be cut to ~10mm length & are used to couple two 3 pronged grey atoms.
- Snip 1 prong from each yellow atom to correctly illustrate the valence.
- Attach bonds to the pair from (1) & then attach 6 snipped yellow atoms from (2) to the others ends of these bonds.
Continue this process until you have something that looks like the model in the main image.
