This methane ice clathrate model has 20 oyxgens and a methane molecule that can be suspensed/trapped inside the cage; only $16.95. The structure does not include hydrogen atoms in the cage to in order to emphasize the cage structure.
A clathrate cage or hydrate is essentially an ice structure that has a trapped compound such as methane within the cage structure. It is believed that vast quantities of natural gas are trapped in the ocean depths. This model is a simplified version without the hydrogens to make the cage more obvious.
